Frequently Asked QuestionsWhy doesn’t my comment appear after I click “post”? Posts are approved by the moderator to minimize spam and prevent any defamatory or inappropriate content. We would like to emphasize, though, that we welcome constructive criticism and disagreement. We are making every effort to approve posts in a timely manner, but please allow up to 12 hours for your post to appear. If you have an urgent request or question, contact us. Do I need to supply my email address in order to post a message to the discussion board? No. Your email address is not a requirement to post a message. However, if you would like to subscribe to a thread or contact another person who has posted a message, you must supply your email address. Once you have supplied your email address, others will also be able to contact you directly. Can I respond to someone directly without having my comments be posted to the discussion board? Yes, if that person has provided their email address. To do so, click on their name and you will be brought to a screen where you can email them directly. You will need to provide your email address as well, but your comments will not be posted on the discussion board. Can I post documents to the discussion board? Yes, we encourage you to share relevant documents via the message board. Up to five documents can be attached to each post. Please note there is a size limit of 1MB per document attached to posts. If you have a document you would like to share that is larger than 1MB, please contact us to discuss. Also, if you would like to share a PowerPoint document, you will need to publish it as a PDF file before it can be attached to a post. Should I post as an individual or as a representative of my organization? Either is fine. We welcome comments that are formally on behalf of an organization as well as individual comments. Should I keep my comments within one of the established threads or start my own? Either is fine. We have suggested a few initial categories but welcome the addition of new threads. Please feel free to contact us with any other questions. |
